APA SUPPORTS THE MAU-EGERTON UNIVERSITY CROSS COUNTRY FOR THE SIXTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Nairobi, Kenya, 1 February 2019 – Egerton University Vice Chancellor, Prof. Rose A. Mwonya (left) receives a sponsorship cheque from Meena Shah, Nakuru Branch Manager, APA Insurance (centre) and Hillary Mbithi, APA Nakuru (right) for Ksh 300 000 for the 6th Mau Egerton University Cross Country.  This is the sixth consecutive year the company has sponsored the Mau-Egerton University Cross Country, which will take place on Saturday 9 February 2019.  The Mau-Egerton University Cross country was created to raise funds for rehabilitation of Mau ecosystem and Njoro River.

Over the past five years APA APOLLO has also partnered with Egerton University to plant indigenous trees at the Ngongeri Park as part of restoration of the riparian forest vegetation along the middle section on Njoro River.
