Individual Personal Accident

This is cover that covers an individual against bodily injury effected solely through external, violent and purely accidental means.  The insured is given a limit in case of death or total disablement. Some policies provide wide cover that includes HEALTH expenses and funeral benefits.  The insurer pays for total disablement as follows:-

100%                     :               Life

                                :               Both hands

                                :               Both feet

                                :               Sight of both eyes

                                :               One hand and one foot

                                :               One hand and sight of one eye

                                :               One foot and sight of one eye

50%                        :               One hand

                                :               One foot

                                :               Sight of one eyes 

Underwriting Guidelines

1.             The insured must provide personal details (occupations and annual wages)

2.             Age limit 58 - 75 years.

Exclusions

1.             Self-destruction or self-inflicted injuries

2.             Racing on wheels or on horses

3.             War, declared or undeclared

4.             Engagement in unlawful acts

5.             Service or flight in aircraft except as fare paying passengers.

Rating

Rating in most instances varies depending on the occupation of the employees and the sums insured.  Different occupations attract different premiums please ask for a quote once details above are available.
